Points system
Points were awarded in the order of 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 [1] to the top 10 finishers in each race, with some exceptions:
- Drivers had to complete 30% of the race distance and only drive one car in order to score points [1]
- Teams were only given points for their highest finishing car; any other team cars were merely skipped in the points standings. Points were still awarded to their drivers however.
- Neither driver nor team scored points if the car did not complete 90% of the winner's distance.
Category 1 and Category 2 cars did not contest their own individual championships and thus were scored together.
