Hamza Mohammed (born November 1980) is a Ghanaian footballer. He currently plays for King Faisal Babes.
Career
After leaving New Zealand Knights FC, Mohammed had trials with Stade Rennes,[1] Hapoel Be'er Sheva F.C.,[2] Leeds United, Dundee United FC and St Johnstone FC but was deemed to be too short of match fitness to secue himself a contract. On August 10, 2007, Hamza signed a 3-year-contract with Romanian division A side club Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt[3] and joined in summer 2009 back to Ghana to sign for King Faisal Babes who scores one goal in the first two matches[4]
International career
Mohamed was member of the Ghana national under-17 football team at 1999 FIFA World Youth Championship in Nigeria.[5] Then was part of the Ghanaian 2002 and 2006 African Nations Cup teams.
