Herman Henry Riddick (July 28, 1907 – September 30, 1968)[1] was the ninth head football coach at North Carolina Central University located in Durham, North Carolina and he held that position for 20 seasons (longer than any other coach), from 1945 until 1964. His coaching record at North Carolina Central was 111–57–11.[2]
