KBWZ is a radio station licensed and broadcasting to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on 1230 kHz AM. The station airs a country music format, simulcasting KBCR-FM, and is currently owned by Don Tlapek, through licensee Blizzard Broadcasting LLC.[1]
History
The station went on the air in 1977. On November 15, 1996, the station changed its call sign from KSBT to KBCR.[2] On January 13, 2015, the call sign was changed from KBCR to KBWZ.
