Turiisk


Location in Volyn Oblast, Ukraine
Turiisk is an urban settlement (town) in Volyn Oblast (province), located in the historic region of the Volhynia. It is an administrative seat of the Turiisk Raion. Population: 5,812 (2015 est.)[1]

History
During World War II, in 1942,[2] Jews of the village[3] were murdered by an Einsatzgruppen in a mass execution.[4]
