Xu Jiayu (Chinese: 徐嘉余; born 19 August 1995) is a Chinese competitive swimmer who specializes in the backstroke. He competed for China at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and won a silver medal in the 100 metre backstroke at the 2016 Summer Olympics.[1][2] He is the current national record holder in backstroke competitions of all distances (50, 100, and 200 metre).
